Simply remove the cover and pull the bulb out.

This tailgate speaker is compact and can be carried with ease. The speaker has a hard plastic shell, with a built-in handle. Past buyers have complained of the speaker falling over when the wind is too strong, but its shell case is hard and durable.

The volume is decent, and it has a 3.5 mm auxiliary input to use at tailgate parties and small backyard gatherings. Many buyers have complained about it not being loud enough though, especially since it is advertised as a “tailgate speaker”.

Sadly, the battery only lasts for around three hours and takes the same amount of time to recharge. On the upside, the speaker will still play while plugged in. So, as long as you have a power source, it can be used with ease.

While it does not include a microphone, the iLive ISB408B Wireless Tailgate Speaker does have a mic input that can be used for karaoke or when you need to make an announcement or speak in public or at a gather.
