  1. Hi Jeff
    Please remove anything in the articles you publish by Ken Cwikla, on this site “In The Stores”,past and present in reference to thier affiliation with the Connectict Valley Diecast Club as they are the personal works of Ken Cwikla. They have NEVER BEEN sanctioned and or approved for his personal use by the board and or the membership of the CVD club
    Thanks and look forward to this correction

  2. WOW, Mike you have to be kidding, the guy is enjoying the hobby and you need a “Board” descision to make a post. on a private hobby board. This is a very strange request. WOW. I would think you would want your club to be mentioned as a promotional tool. I don’t get it.

  3. Mike – I have permission directly from Ken to republish the articles on my site under his name. He provides me with the information each month ahead of the CVD newsletter release. In addition, Manuel has given permission to use Ken as the author of the Matchbox articles that are reprinted here as well. The Connecticut Valley Diecast club gets full credit with a link back to the club website on every post. I would be interested to know why you are requesting them to be removed.

    Best, Jeff

  4. Right on the money, Jeff. Thanks for the common sense. A hobby for fun, let’s keep it that way.

  5. To Wom It May Concern;

    On Sunday, March 7, 2010, a new board of directors was elected at Connecticut Valley Diecast Club. Hopefully this will put an end to the board of directors’ in-fighting.

    This said, maybe our club can continue to be a fun place to gather to enjoy the buying and selling of TOY cars and racing while enjoying time spent with other members.

    “Diecast cars are for having fun!”

  6. We agree with Jim and Roland….this club is a great place to enjoy our hobby of collecting diecast cars…it should be about having fun and meeting our friends old and new each month. Don’t let a few troublemakers ruin it for the vast majority of us!! Come to the club and support all the good being done….let’s ignore the negative and concentrate on the positive.
    Thanks….hope to see everyone there.
