There’s less than a week until the Comic-Con invasion returns to San Diego, California and its yet another year that I will not be attending. Like many others, I will be experiencing the convention virtually through all the online content and video posts from fellow media outlets.

Collectors who will be attending Comic-Con in person should plan on heading over to the Mattel’s Hot Wheels sales and display booths to get a first-hand look some special new products. Here are some of the cool things you can expect to see (as listed on HotWheelsCollectors.com):

• – Battle Force 5 – Check out the new Hot Wheels series debuting on Cartoon Network August 29th. Free DVD trailer included with every purchase*! Also, come out to Room 7AB on Sunday, July 26 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM to see the Hot Wheels® Battle Force 5 screening
• – Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise in Space Dock – Docking station opens up to become a stand for the Enterprise. Available first at Comic-Con, then only at HWC!
• – Batman: The Dark Knight Batmobile and Bat-Pod Vehicles – Packaging recreates the scene from the movie where the Batmobile is destroyed and the Bat-Pod emerges. Available first at Comic-Con, then only at HWC!
• – Real Bat-Pod from The Dark Knight – Visit the Hot Wheels booth and see the actual Bat-Pod from the hit film!
