Jimmy “The Boxman” Chavez blows some “Double Bubbles!”
All it takes is one look at the work of Jimmy “The Boxman” Chavez to know that this is one creative guy who continues to innovate in the area of custom diecast presentation. This time around, Boxman returns with some really sweet diecast offerings to chew on – literally!
The idea for creating these Double Bubble themed pieces has been kicking around in Jimmy’s mind for the last five years. His original concept involved creating a package that resembled the traditional round shaped bubble gum machine. As the project began to come to light, he discovered that the 1950’s vending style gum-ball machines were square, which made for a more realistic blister shape. All the graphics on the blister card and tampos for these pieces were designed by Jimmy as well.

The thing that truly makes this release special is that each one is made on a “build-to-order” basis. Orders for both the VW Drag Bus and Dairy Delivery version can be placed through DieHard-DieCast.
