As I mentioned previously, Lightning Fest 2009 is shaping up to bigger and better than ever, and the official announcement that John Schneider will be making a celebrity guest appearance at this year’s fest is the proof in the pudding. Here’s the official word from Johnny Lightning:

“John Schneider, the star of TV shows like The Dukes of Hazzard, Nip/Tuck and Smallville will be a special guest at Lightning Fest 2009 and will help to light up the eastern Iowa skies once again for two days straight come August 7th and 8th.
