Mark your calendars for Lightning Fest 2009!

JL Lightning Fest 2009Johnny Lightning collectors should mark their calendars, as the dates for this year’s Lightning Fest have been announced! Here is the word from Tom Zahorsky on the official Johnny Lightning site:

“The new dates for Lightning Fest 2009 are August 7-8 in Dyersville, IA. Mark your calendars because you will not want to miss it! We are planning more events this year and will have a few exclusive cars that will only be available at the show. We also have a couple guest appearances planned that will be announced in the coming months!”

The word on the street is that this year’s Fest is shaping up to be bigger and better than years past with great events like:

  • - Exclusive diecast cars
  • - 1:1 car show
  • - Charity auction
  • - Vendor tables
  • - Johnny Lightning dinner

Tom’s mention of appearances by celebrity guests is definitely exciting news! As always, I’ll let you know as soon as additional details become available. Stay tuned!

  2. JUST A SMALL COMMENT, I HAVE NEVER BEEN AT A LIGHTNING FEST, AND I AM TOTALLY THRILLED THAT ONE OF MY BIGGEST, STARS IS GOING TO BE AT THE 2009 LIGHTNING FEST, MR. JOHN SCHNEIDER, BEEN A REAL BIG FAN OF HIS FOR MANY MANY YEARS, I USED TO WATCH THE DUKES OF HAZZARD AS A CHILD AND STILL DO WHEN THEY HAVE THE RERUNS OF THE SHOW, I HAVE TWO OF HIS COUNTRY MUSIC CD’S. I THINK HE WILL HIT THE FEST WITH A BANG.

  3. just was wondering if it costs anything to enter the festival? please respond as soon as possible.
