We have a big club with 100+ members (not really reflected in the video) so having a hall to accommodate the crowd is essential. A combination of club dues, racing fees and raffle money help cover the costs. Mattel is involved in our convention after the amazing job the whole RIHWC crew did in raising over $20,000 for Make-a-Wish last year. Looks like the RI crew goes all out! I'm trying to get together a more organized racing club here in Ohio but having trouble finding a good spot to host the thing. I don't have a 50-foot track, it's only about 20, but still a lot of fun. Just wondering how/where to go about getting a decent location and possibly get sponsors for such a thing?
