2008 Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt Set Sale
Not only is it Election Day next Tuesday, November 4th, but its also the return of Mattel’s highly anticipated Treasure Hunt Set. For the second year in a row, this set will feature all 12 of the 2008 Treasure Hunt cars, PLUS all 12 of the 2008 “super” Treasure Hunt cars. Each car will come on individual blister cards, and the “super” Treasure Hunt cars feature special finishes and Real Riders® wheels not found on the regular treasure hunts! Included in the set are two of each of the following vehicles — one Treasure Hunt and one “super” Treasure Hunt — for a total of 24 vehicles:

- - Dodge Viper
- - ’64 Buick® Riviera
- - ’69 Camaro
- - ’70 Plymouth Road Runner
- - 16 Angels
- - Ford Mustang GT
- - Dodge Challenger Funny Car

- - Rockster
Each set is individually numbered and will be priced at $249.99 (plus shipping & processing). Obtain a set will surely be a challenge with only 2000 untis being produced. However, for many collectors (like me!), the occasion of finding a Treasure Hunt might come around once or twice a year, so this is a prime opportunity to obtain each an every Treasure Hunt release for the year in one shot.
