One-of-a-Kind EVO SS on eBay for Charity
This past weekend we learned of a very rare item being offered on eBay with the proceeds of the auction going to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The Dave Chang and guys at KUSTOMCITY have offered up a Pre-Production-5th Issue “Over-Chrome Series” of the KUSTOMCITY EVO SS DRAG BUS in Over-Chrome Hot Pink.
KUSTOMCITY is guaranteeing that this piece is truly one of a kind. In fact, they have said that if an exact copy of this bus surfaces (other than the one in this auction) it will be destroyed. This rare piece was originally scheduled to be melted down and destroyed along with others as ‘scrap’ until it was rescued and put away to be available for a great cause. Fortunately for collectors, the great cause has been identified, and KUSTOMCITY will be helping the Rhode Island Summer Smash raise money for the Make-a-Wish foundation.
The auction is running until August 13th and the bidding is up over $400 as I write this post. After the auction is over and the transaction is finished, Dave Chang and the KUSTOMCITY crew will be taking the proceeds from this auction and heading to “The Summer Smash” in Rhode Island this coming August, the 22nd thru 24th. This is one amazing gesture by a group of truly amazing people.
