K-Mart Collectors Day Returns!
After a short absense during the middle of 2007, the Hot Wheels K-Mart Collectors Day event returns to your local brick and mortar on Saturday, September 22nd! This is always a great event for those who don’t get out to hunt for cars as much as they’d like to, and as usual, there will be a few special event cars to be found as well. This time around you’ll find three 2007 basic vehicles featuring all-new Kmart exclusive colors/deco:
- - Chevy Camaro Concept in hi-lite gold afflair
- - 1964 Ford Galaxie in pearlescent white
- - Buick Grand National in blue
This event should be happening in all continental US Kmart, Big Kmart and Super Kmart locations. Be sure to check with your local store to confirm that event is happening near you. September 22nd also marks the start of a special Hot Wheels/Kmart promotion. Buy 20 selected Hot Wheels basic cars and you can send away to receive a Hot Wheels Collector Edition 1970 Chevy Chevelle convertible. WILL THE CARS AT K-MART BE ALL 2008 ,2009 OR 2007; OR JUST WHAT THEY SEND. LOOKING FOR 1/18 BATMOBILES AS WELL AS THE 1/64. THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR COLLECTING HOT WHEELS.THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND ENJOY YOUR DAY.

The next KMart Collector’s day is coming up on September 20th. All the cars will be part of the 2008 line. However, the cases are shipped special from Mattel and will contain several “KMart-only” repaints as well as a few “first to market” cars that will eventually appear at other retailers later this season.
