The set is retailing for $90US which isn’t bad considering what buying each car separately would cost. 1) Adult Collectible 2-Car Sets
The first four 2-cars sets from the Adult Collectibles line (100%!) will be released between November 2007 and February 2008:

• Drive In Style: 56 Ford Pickup & 56 Crown Victoria (November)
• BLVD Burners: 70 Hemi Cuda & 69 Dodge Charger (New Tool/December)
• Judge’s Pick: 38 Ford Cabover & 32 Ford Sedan (February)
• Mopar Muscle: 69 Plymouth Hemi GTX & 70 Plymouth Superbee (February)

2) ‘74 Dodge Charger Debuts in the Mainline
“The 74 Dodge Charger casting makes its first appearance in the Mainline on a 2007 All Stars card. It is not considered a first edition but a first appearance because it was first released in a 2004 General Mills salute to Petty Promotion.

The 2007 All Stars Dodge Charger is on Card #154. This model is metallic gold with a gloss black hood, blacked out windows, black side stripe tampo with painted side markers, 5 spoke wheels and a gray plastic Thailand base.

3) White Wall Bike Wheels
This is the 2008 “Team Custom Bikes” Scorchin Scooter and it has White Wall Wheels! The bike is metallic aqua blue with white, hot pink and lime green flames. It also has black handlebars and a black enamel seat.

Simply buy 20 1:64th scale Hot Wheels basic cars of the appropriate SKU between September 22nd and October 31st from your local Kmart brick and mortar. Then just mail in the original receipt, full cards with UPC intact, the order form and applciable shipping charges to receive your car.

Collectors who were able to make it to their local Kmart brick and mortar this past Saturday were treated to new cars in more ways than one! Not only were they able to get their hands on the three special Kmart-only repaints, but plenty of 2008 First Edition ‘07 Shelby GT500’s were found in the cases as well.

At the event diecastAUDIO attended, several collectors were also able to walk away with the 2007 Ferrari Treasure Hunt (us included!). One lucky collector even got the Super Hunt version. Overall, it was another successful event. How was the event in your area? Leave us a comment and let us know!

The folks over a JADATOYS.COM have posted some shots of the new castings that will be available as part of Wave 3 of their popular “For Sale” line. This time around Jada is making some bold moves by including a diverse set of vehicles which include a Hummer H1, a 1973 Ford Bronco, a 1965 Dodge A-100 pickup, a 1971 Nissan (Datsun) 510, a Mazda RX7 , and a 1940 Caddilac Fleetwood.

While we’ve seen the likes of the Datsun 510 in other lines, it should be interesting to see how Jada is able to transition some of the more obscure castings seen here into future releases. diecastAUDIO is definitely excited to see!
