“Rumors that Basic Wheels will return are now confirmed… Ya had to see this coming. Chances are that basic wheels will be used in the 40th Anniversary set and even the Since 68 Set should be no surprise now….. We will see the Since 68 Series hit stores in the summer and it will be broken down into 4 Ten Car Segment Series…. The Top 40, The Muscle Cars, The Hot Rods and the Originals will all be part of it. The Muscle Cars and The Hot Rods Segments speak for themselves… But what about the Top 40? Will this be 10 of the Top 40 castings of all time? Will it be 10 of the Top 40 most popular castings…. Could it be 10 of the Top 40 castings as picked by the Designers? This is still not known…… And what about the Originals Segment…. Will this be 10 cars from the original red line Era? Or could it be 10 Original designed castings… Time will tell on this also… Some of this will stay secret for now.

The ‘SS Express’ has been announced as the new Chevelle Spoiler casting…… The Plymouth Duster Spoiler casting will be called ‘Duster Thruster’…… For a while the rumors were that the name ‘Eat My Duster’ was being considered, but that couldn’t be worked out. Another new Spoiler casting will be called ‘Large and In Charge’ and this is likely to be a 1967 Charger. The first appearances of these castings will be in the Since 68 Series.”
