Thats right – only a few days left until the Rhode Island Hot Wheels Club Diecast Expo and Club Dinner begins! The doors at Lombari’s 1025 Club in Johnson, Rhode Island will open at 9am and the fun will continue on into the late afternoon ending at 3pm. Activities will include buying, selling, trading, downhill racing, a customs contest, and a diecast display area, as well as plenty of raffles and giveaways. This year’s special guests include Hot Wheels author Mike Zarnock and Liberty Promotions President Lee Pearlman. With a low $2 admission price (kids under 12 are free), this event is sure to be fun for the whole family!

Just like last year, diecastAUDIO will be in attendance to cover the event and record some interviews. This year we hope to capture some video as well, which will be posted up on www.diecastvideo.com.

After the Expo winds down and the vendors have packed up, the club dinner will begin begin at 5pm and last until 9pm. This year the club is sponsoring a child from the Make-a-Wish Foundation and will be raising $5000 to send him to Disney World. The dinner’s charity auction will feature some very rare and exclusive pieces that will surely meet that goal!
