JL shows off pre-production Duster samples
Tom Zahorsky, Senior Design Manager for Johnny Lightning shows off some nice pre-production samples of their upcoming 1971 Plymouth Duster over on the JOHNNYLIGHTNING.COM blog. The painted sample is displayed in Corporation Blue with white stripes. The Duster’s trademark hood scoops are missing from the painted samples (shown on the unpainted) but will be added for the production run. The Duster’s “Twister” option included a matte-black hood, 340-type black grille, tape stripes, and Rally wheels. Collectors will be pleased that the White Lightning version of this Duster will be available and will sport a white vinyl top with a white chassis.
