HOBBYTALK.COM poster Mark #10 has listed the castings that will be included in the second Dukes of Hazzard release which will be coming to retail this September. Pictures are not currently available, but the castings list includes:

Some forum members were questioning the existence of a black General Lee on the show. Diehard DoH fans will know that the black General was part of the birthday flashback episode where Bo and Luke need a car for a race and go to a junkyard to find the black charger. Of course the Zinger General Lee is a completely different case! diecastAUDIO will certainly be following up with pictures as soon as they become available.

Well - there’s good news and there’s bad news…The good news is that details have finally been revealed about the quantities and availability of the highly anticipated Tanahara/DieCastX Expo Dairy D! The bad news is that unless you live within traveling distance of Ponoma California, then you will likely have to battle other collectors in the high-priced secondary market to get you hands on the coveted Dairy-D.

DIEHARD-DIECAST.COM has announced that they will be selling 100 attendee show packages via their website for $95 each. The package includes (1) admission ticket to the expo, (1) DieCastX Expo VW Bus and (1) DieCastX Expo Dairy Delivery. Packages will be limited to (1) per household and you must attend the expo to pick-up the ticket and cars at the will call booth. None of the items will be shipped!

The alternative method will be to buy your ticket and cars on expo day, but with the VW Drag Bus being limited to 350 and the Dairy-D being limited to 500 the camp-out line will surely be something to contend with. One question that has yet to be answered is whether you will be able to have someone pick up you ticket and cars for you at the will call booth or if picture ID will need to be provided as proof of identity. Once that information is flushed out there may be hope if you know a “west-coaster” how is attending.

Poster Roy Nakamura over on the SNEHW.COM (Southern New England Hot Wheelers) forums recently took some time to craft a great look at one of the earlier Jada releases. Produced in 2001, very few of these actually made it to retail which has made the rather hard to find at present day.

The Thunder Crusher release was slated to have 6 different Chevy castings which included the S-10, Avalanche, Suburban, 53 Pick Up, Silverado and Astro Van. However, its believed that only four of those casting were ever released. The luck four include the S-10, Suburban, 53 Pick Up and Silverado. In addition to the standard monster truck format, they were also sold as model kits that allowed set of stock truck tires to be replaced with a new chassis and monster tires.
