SOLVED: The Case of the Missing Engine!

For those of you who dug deeper and looked at all the close up pictures of Jada’s upcoming ‘65 VW 1600 Fastback, you might have noticed that it appeared to have no engine! The initial close-up pictures showed an empty trunks in both the front and the rear which lead forum members to wonder if Jada had included an engine in this particular casting.

Well, the mystery has been solved. Poster reekman has posted a few additional close-up shots which reveal the hatch in the rear truck and then a shot of the engine with the hatch removed. We’ve included some small shots here, but make the jump for the biggies!
